Infrastructure Planning and Development is one of the administrative units of NIT Jamshedpur that is responsible for planning, design, construction, renovation, maintenance and development of all infrastructural facilities in the Institute campus including buildings, roads, walkways, sports grounds, water supply and distribution networks, power supply and transmission systems, internet and Wi-Fi services, sewerage systems, cleaning and waste disposal systems, transport systems, engineering services, horticulture and green campus, etc. The Infrastructure Planning and Development (P&D) Division is headed by the Dean, P&D and is supported by Associate Deans,Assistant Executive Engineers, Assistant Engineers, Junior Engineers, other technical personnel and office staffs.
